1. Make a donation.

Your donation will keep living history, traditional maritime vessels and the associated skills alive for the next generation.  Just click on the Donate button above. Your tax deductible donation1 will help Association for Maritime Preservation preserve National Historic Landmarks, experiential learning and the historic crafts of the sea.

Your contributions are so important to the preservation and education of maritime history. To make a general donation or donation to a specific vessel or artifact, please make a note in the comment section of the online donation form or in the memo section of your check.

To donate to Project J&E Riggin Rebuild, your donations are recognized with the following gifts:

Pin – $1 to $99 – hat pin with the J. & E. Riggin silhouette.
Apprentice – $100 to $499 – hand made wooden spoon made with wood that came from the J. & E. Riggin.
Bosun – $500 to $4,999 sail canvas bag made with J. & E. Riggin sails made by Sea Bags
Quartermaster – $5000 to $9,999 large Dahl Taylor print of the J. & E. Riggin off the Rockland Breakwater.
Helmsman – $10,000 to $19,999 sponsor a new mahogany cabin lee board with a brass plaque in your name.
– $20,000 and up – sponsor a new plank inscribed with words of your choosing, i.e. your name or “In memory of…,” so that you or your loved ones will forever be a part of the J. & E. Riggin’s history.

2. Stock Donation

4. Wish List

In-kind donations are a wonderful way to help and are most appreciated. Our wish list is always changing but see below for what’s most needed now. Thank you to everyone who has helped us so far.

  • Portable Generator – Honda (or other manufacturer,) whisper quiet, low db, suitcase style
  • Stainless Steel Tools – kit or individual, sockets and drivers (3/8”, 1/2”, 3/4”), wrenches, screw drivers
  • Rope or Line of any kind and size
  • Auger Drill Bits – 1/4” to 1” size
  • Any Hand Tools for Woodworking
  • Any Size Block and Tackle
  • Environmentally Safe – low v.o.c. marine paints and varnishes, brushes and thinner, stripper Scrapers, Sanders and Sand paper
